Friends & Foundation of the Rochester Public Library

How You Can Help

Annual gifts enhance the collection of books & materials at the Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County and contribute to the Friends & Foundation's programs.

Capital gifts support the continuing renovation and restoration of the Rundel Memorial Building and other Rochester Public Library facilities. Current capital gifts will support the Library’s 2014-2017 From Collections To Community campaign to rejuvenate the downtown Central Library.

Specific project gifts support current projects initiated by the Library, which need private funding to continue and flourish. These include funding for Safe to be Smart Program for Youth; Digitization of library-owned Local History materials; Harold Hacker Fund for the Advancement of Libraries; Chester F. Carlson Patent & Trademark Center; Toy Library; Ruby M. Jefferson Memorial Book Fund; Equality Fund for Humanity & Enlightenment.

Planned giving bequests and gifts to the Friends & Foundation endowment fund will work forever to benefit the Library and the community it serves.
