VALENTINE PARTY FOR CHILD AND DAD

Valentine Party for child (grades kindergarten - 5) and dad (or other favorite male adult).  You and your special guest are invited to a Valentine’s Day party!  We’ll decorate and eat some sweet treats, make a valentine craft, and enjoy other fun activities.

STORYBOOK COOKS with Liz Bauld

For ages 4-8, accompanied by an adult   Flip for flapjacks! This fun class will feature pancake stories and then we’ll learn the special technique of “flipping” those tasty cakes before we gobble them up!

STUFFED ANIMAL PET SHOW

For ages 3-8, accompanied by an Adult.  Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the library for our 14th annual stuffed pet show! We’ll have lots of fun with pet crafts and activities and every pet will receive an award! Please bring one stuffed animal per child.

FAMILY GAME DAY

LIBRARY LEGO LAB

For children ages 6-11.   Do you love to build with Legos? Come join other Lego fans for our Library Lego Lab! We’ll provide all the Legos, you bring your imagination. Creations will be photographed then dismantled for our next Lego Lab!

MINECRAFT MONDAY

Grades 2 - 8.   Meet up with other Minecraft fans at the library! Bring your own device with the game on it or play the PC version on a library laptop (some licenses are provided, but bring your own username and password if you have one. Registration is not required.

We will share a story and have hands on activities using Magrific 3-D Tiles, Brackitz, Goldie Blox. & Twist n Build Tubes. Session is limited to 8 children and you must register separately for each maker-space.

SCRAP ART FUN

Join us and use your creativity to produce a work of art using some recycled items as diverse as seashells, beads, fabric, pinecones, machine parts, game pieces, dried flowers, and more.  Presenter Mary Jane Wenner will provide the instruction and inspiration and all the materials. STUFFED ANIMAL SLEEPOVER

For children ages 3 – 8, accompanied by an adult  Come join us for our stuffed animal bedtime storytime! Children bring a favorite stuffed animal to hear stories and songs about toys and then tuck them in for a sleepover at the library!!  The next day, Wednesday, March 30, between 3 – 8:30 pm, children come back to pick up their animals and a souvenir of their animal’s experience!  (Make sure to bring an animal your child can part with for the night.)
