We want to make Penfield Public Library the first place members of our community
think of when they want to share, learn and discover. The tax revenue we receive
is our primary source of funds to operate the library, but we rely on additional
funds donated by supporters to help achieve our vision. Why should you donate?
The Penfield Public Library Gift and Memorial Fund is administered by the Board
of Trustees of the Penfield Public Library. We also welcome donations specified
to purchase materials or equipment intended to commemorate a life event, such as
welcoming a new member to your family, noting a career or educational
accomplishment, recognizing an anniversary, or memorializing an individual no
longer with us who has exhibited particular devotion to the principles that the
Library represents. Every such gift is acknowledged with a bookplate or plaque
commemorating or memorializing the donor and the honoree, and letters of thanks
are forwarded to the donor and honoree or honoree’s family.
