New Russian Books  Russian booksPenfield Public Library is pleased to report that we have recently added 25 new books in Russian for all ages. For children we have 365 Fairy Tales From All Over the World100 Favorite Children’s Songs, three fairy tales including  Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves, and The Goose that Laid the Golden Eggand the board book Dear Zoo. Teens will enjoy Suzanne Collins’Catching Fire and The Hunger Games plus the classic Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Adults have a wide choice of titles including: The Associate by John Grisham, Kat Martin’s Heart of Fire, Jackie Collins’ Lucky’s Revenge, Danielle Steel’s 44 Charles Street, Sandra Brown’s The Devil’s Own, Catherine Coulter’s Rosehaven and Boris Pasternak’s Doctor Zhivago. In addition, readers of non-fiction can select the beauty book Forever Young, biographies of Anna Pavlova by Victor Dandre and Diagilev by Chernyshova-Melnik.

PrinterTry our new self-service printing system! Our new and improved self-service printing system offers features to make your printing experience a breeze.  One login provides access to our public computers and automatically logs you in to our printing system, so printing is seamless, no matter how many print jobs you generate during your visit.  Retrieval is smooth, too.  You can just scan in your library card number to access the print jobs you’ve created.  No separate login necessary to use the new attached vending unit to pay for your prints.  If you wish to delay collecting your print jobs, it’s no problem.  Our system will remember your jobs for 72 hours, so you can batch jobs to pick up at your convenience.  Stop in soon to try our new printing system.
