Thumbs Up
Overheard in the Library . . . . . .  "The staff of the Penfield Public Library is always quite courteous and helpful. Their number one priority is customer service, whether it is locating a book, answering reference questions, or having a sufficient number of computers for patrons to use. These are things that all libraries should do, but not all of them have the requisite resources. Penfield has a community that supports and uses its library and in return the library does a terrific job of staying relevant in the Internet age."

Neighbor Next Door Series: "The Basics -- Understanding Alzheimer's Disease", Thursday, May 26th, 7:00-8:30 p.m.  This program is part of the Alzheimer's Association of Rochester's monthly series of topics designed to bring understanding to caregivers of those with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. This month's topic explores what distinguishes Alzheimer's disease from normal aging, how Alzheimer's is diagnosed, and what community resources are available. Register here or call 340-8720.
