GET IN THE GAME..READ!

FOR GRADES 6 - 12.   Get your Scratch-Off Prize Tickets! You could be an instant winner or the recipient of a prize package in our weekly raffles. Each day you visit the library we will give you one Scratch-Off Prize Ticket, simply for stopping in!
Pick up a “Get in the Game: Read” coupon book filled with reading challenges and complete them throughout the summer to earn additional Scratch-Off Prize Tickets! The library’s
Information Desk is the place to go for all the details.
 


MARIO & SONIC AT THE RIO 2016 OLYMPIC GAMES

7:00  pm - 8:30  pm
Age Level: 12 yrs. - 18 yrs.

Compete with Mario, Sonic and all your favorite characters in Rio de Janeiro, host of the Olympic Games in 2016.  This Wii U game features events like Soccer, Rugby Sevens, Beach Volleyball, and more! We will conclude by awarding medals to top scorers. REGISTRATION is required and begins July 13. Space is limited to 20 participants.
 


CHOCOLATE GAMES

Get in the Game Wednesday Nights: Grades 6-12.   Check out some sweet challenges as you interact with chocolate in its various forms! Prizes will be awarded.
REGISTRATION is required and begins July 20.


PRACTICE SAT
2016-08-10
10:00  am - 2:00  pm

Grades 10-12.   Prepare for the official SAT by taking a practice test under 'real' timed test conditions, proctored by Chariot Learning. After the test, learn how to score the exam and interpret the results. Bring pencils, snacksand a calculator.
REGISTRATION is required and begins July 27
 


HOW TO FESTIVAL

1:30  pm - 4:30  pm

Have you ever wanted to learn a number of new skills in one place in a very short time?   If so, join us on a Sunday afternoon as we explore at least a dozen new activities spanning the entire Dewey Decimal system.  Free refreshments and giveaways. The library will be open for regular business from 1-5 pm.
