RECYCLED MATERIALS FASHION   Grades 6-12 can participate and should arrive ½ hour early,
all ages can attend the show
Make a costume or outfit using recycled or repurposed materials (at home) and model it on our runway! We will have a special prize for “Best Use of Materials,” “Best Hero,” and “Best Villain”! Check out this video of our 2013 Trashion Show on YouTube

10:00  am - 12:30  pm

FREE PRACTICE EXAM FOR GRADES 10-11   Kaplan administers this free practice exam under simulated conditions. See how you might score on the new version of the PSAT which will be administered to juniors in the fall. Scoring well on the actual PSAT can earn you a National Merit Scholarship! Bring a calculator and a number 2 pencil. Wear comfortable clothing.

DIGITAL DAY AT THE LIBRARY   Join us on a Sunday afternoon for our second annual open house as we demonstrate downloadable books, several electronic databases, the website for children, and an intro to social media.  Join the Minecraft Meet-up.  (Bring your own device if you have one).   Free refreshments and an e-reader giveaway. The library will be open for regular business.

 Teen programs are sponsored by the Friends of Penfield Public Library.
