About the Arnett Branch Library

Location: At 310 Arnett Boulevard, the Arnett Branch Library is located in the southwest sector (4) of Rochester, at the intersection of Arnett Boulevard and Warwick Avenue.

Branch Profile: The current building, completed in 1973, is spacious and comfortable with 12,000 square feet and a large adjacent parking area. The branch has a children’s room and teen center. The Helen Martin Memorial Garden of native New York State plants is tucked into an alcove outside the library.

Programs:
"Safe to Be Smart" Program - Activities and services geared toward youth. Teen Center activities held Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to closing.

Dial-a-Teacher Homework Assistance - Children can receive help with their homework on most Mondays and Wednesdays during the school year from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. 

Services:
Meeting Room: The Arnett meeting room seats 100 and is available to non-profit organizations. Non-profits may book the room for free. A $30 fee applies A $10 fee may apply. Please call the reference desk at 428-8214 for additional details.

Arnett Branch offers Notary Public services -- patrons in need of this service are advised to call ahead.

Digital Literacy: Free computer support and computer-related assistance. Learn basic computer skills and how to use Microsoft or Google products. Get assistance creating or updating your resume, applying for jobs or benefits online and much more. This service is provided by Literacy Volunteers of Rochester, Inc.

The Books by Bike mobile takes library services out into the community as weather and staffing permit.

Faxing and a photocopier are available.

Computers:
There are 33 public computers with Internet access and printing available.
