Did you know that many MCLS libraries offer exam proctoring services? High school and college level students who are taking distance learning classes can schedule their exams in libraries throughout the county. The following libraries offer this service:
- Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County - College Resource Center. Contact Leatrice Brantley at 428-8395 to make arrangements.
- Charlotte Branch of the Rochester Public Library – Call the library at 428-8216. Service is negotiated on a case by case basis.
- Fairport Public Library - Call the reference desk at 223-9091. Service is negotiated on a case by case basis.
- Gates Public Library – Service is free for Gates residents; $15 charge for non-residents. Contact Karen Kase-McClaren at 247-6446 to make arrangements.
- Henrietta Public Library - Email the HPL Reference Department at mailto://hplinfo@libraryweb.org with subject line "Proctoring" to make arrangements. Services include online exams. There is no private room for test-taking.

The Rochester Teacher's Association (Dial-A-Teacher) 262-5000 (M-Th 3:30-7:00 p.m.) offers homework help at the Arnett Branch (M,W,F 3:30-6:00). Homework Helpers (volunteer organization) assists students at the Lincoln Branch (T,Th 4:00-6:00) and Maplewood Library (M 3:30-7:30, and T,Th 3:30-5:30).
