Mobile Printing Now Available through the Central Library

Mobile Printing 2  How to print from a laptop or desktop computer at home or work: 

  • Begin by visiting http://www.printeron.net/mcls/central-library 
  • Select the printer and enter your email address. 
  • Browse your computer to find and select the file you wish to print. 
  • Click the green print icon (you will see the status of your print job and a reference number). 
  • At the Print Release Station located at the Central Library, select “Release a Print Job”. Enter your print card for payment. 
  • Enter the email address you supplied and select your print job. 
     

How to print from tablet or smartphone app:  

Install the app: 

  • Visit your device’s ‘store’ for apps and install the PrinterOn App: 
    iOS 
    Android 
  • Launch the app. 
  • Click “No printer selected”.
  • Click “Search”. Search for “Monroe County Library System”. 
  • Select a Central Library printer. 

Print from the app: 

  • Select the type of item to be printed. 
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to navigate to the item to be printed. 
  • Select the printer and click the print icon or button.
  • Enter an email address and click on the check mark (you will receive a notice that the job started, and shortly after another message stating “Job Success”). 
  • At the Print Release Station located at the Central Library, select “Release a Print Job”. Enter your print card for payment. 
  • Enter the email address you supplied and select your print job. 
     

How to use email to send something directly to library print system: 

Send an email with your file attached from any device directly to the library’s print system (both the email and your file will be printed):  

B/W email address: mcls-central-library-bw@printspots.com 
Color email address: mcls-central-library-color@printspots.com  

  • You will receive a confirmation email from PrinterOn notifying you of the status and providing details of your print job. 
  • At the Print Release Station located at the Central Library, select “Release a Print Job”. 
  • Enter your print card for payment. 
  • Enter the email address used to send the file and select your print job.
