Lower Link Gallery
The Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County offers a unique opportunity to showcase your artwork and collectibles. Our gallery located in the Lower Link between the Rundel Memorial Building and the Bausch and Lomb Public Library Building is taking applications from organizations and individuals. The Lower Link Gallery has a total of three exhibit walls; two measure 37’ linear feet each, and one measures 67’ linear feet and a wire cable suspension system. Individual pieces up to 100 lbs can be displayed. Locked cases are also available for smaller, three-dimensional pieces. The space is currently available free of charge. Click here for a printable application to apply for this space. Additional guidelines can be found here.
In addition to the gallery space, some of our subject divisions offer display opportunities for small works and collectibles. We are looking for displays that complement the division’s collection, for example; a mineral collection would be welcomed by the Science division, while a display of vintage Rochester postcards would be perfect for Local History.
The divisions with available space include:
Arts, Music and Recreation – 428-8140
Science and History – 428-8110
Local History/Genealogy – 428-8370
If you have a collection or works that would fit the general theme of these divisions please contact the division directly.
