Literature 


 

The Literature area of the department includes a number of special collections and subjects:

  • American Sign Language  materials available in video, software, and print formats
  • Biographies of Authors, Poets, Journalists, Philosophers and Religious Figures
  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Books, Cassettes,  and Videos
  • Fiction in both hardcover and paperback
  • Large Print Fiction and Non-Fiction Titles

Media

The Media section of the department includes:

  • Audio visual materials in Blu-ray, DVD and VHS formats, from popular titles to documentaries, non-fiction titles, and educational videos, as well as foreign films from more than 40 countries.

  • Audiovisual Equipment Rental. Call (585) 428-8360 or click here for slide projector, 8mm and 16mm film projectors, and projection screens. A 24-hour notice is required for all equipment rental reservations.

 

Computer Center

The Computer Center has computers with Microsoft Office software, a scanner, and printers that print both color and black-and-white and oversize. A typewriter is also available for use.
