Summer Reading 2017
June 30-August 18

BUILDABETTERWORLDYA

Teens and tweens (ages 11-18) are invited to "Build a Better World" and participate in our 2017 Summer Reading Program. Explore the appeal of creating, repurposing, and building. We have a variety of events planned on STEM, the envirnoment, art and design.  Just as skyscrapers are built brick by brick and a community comes together person by person, participants will find themselves soaring to new heights through hands-on learning experiences.

The program is simple:

  • Read what you want, when you want: magazines, comics, blogs, and books.
  • Keep track of how long you read on a time log.
  • Completed time logs (5 hours) are turned into the library for a small prize, including books, earbuds, silly toys, restaurant coupons, and more.
  • Every completed time log is entered into weekly drawings for museum passes and a grad prize drawing for a Barnes & Nobel gift card at the end of the summer.
  • Enter to win free tickets to Seabreeze just by registering.
