Frederick Douglass Community Library
Age Level: Adult -- Select - Select
Build a Better World with our Adult Summer Reading Program.  The theme for the 2017 Adult Summer Reading Program is “Build a Better World”. It will run from July 3 – July 29. There will be two opportunities to participate. 1. There will be a weekly raffle.  Each time you come in to the library, you may complete a raffle ticket (1 per day please).  At the end of each week, there will be a prize drawing.   2. There will also be a Scavenger Hunt that you will have 4 weeks to complete.  You will be asked to visit a number of local businesses in the South Wedge with a game board in hand, and each of them will provide you with “proof” that you were there. When you complete the game board, make sure you put your name on it, and hand it to a staff member for entry into the Grand Prize drawing at the end of the program.
