To better serve our patrons the Monroe County Library System has added an email notification option. This option allows you to receive email notices for:
Holds ready for pickup,
Overdue items on your library account,
Courtesy reminder for items on your account that will be due in 3 days.
If the email notice for an item on hold or overdue is unable to be delivered, you will then be notified via the automated phone system.
Once you sign up the subject to look for is "Library Item Notification." Email messages are sent from: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to set your email up to allow messages from these addresses. Worried about privacy? The Monroe County Library System is committed to confidentiality for all patrons. Your personal information will not be used for any purpose other than library related business.
